"Bringing it to the top again. "

Any ideas on where you all will meet
this month? I will be able to make
it as long as you keep it on Saturday
February 17, 2001. Pete Peterson gave
me that date and told me "to get the
day off" so I did.

We all better look out though. Stan
(ISB RAMBO) is "inquiring/maybe hunting"
for the new "Edge" box!

Chris, since Pete said "you are in
charge" any suggestions on the meeting
place?

Back to the top, AGAIN!

Well it has been two days now and no
input from anybody but Pete Peterson
and myself. Anybody have suggestions
for a February 17, 2001 "get together"?

Heh Chris, Stan, David, Bill, Kent
where are you guys?

Pete, we need to send out an "A. P. B. "
on these guys!!

Hey, just checking in, it is hard for me to get away on weekends because of 2 kids and owning our own business makes it hard to get away at all.

Kent

Kent:

Thanks for checking in!! How does the
17th of February look for you?

I can definitely relate to "hard to
get away on the weekends. " Although
I don't own a business I also had to
work when everybody met last month.

John, I'm always here. Most of the places I know about are local to me - around Louisburg and Henderson. There is one exception which is in Warsaw just off 40, The Taste of Country. This place is all you can eat Southern style food and has the best chitterlings in North Carolina! I have to admit that Wilburs was good but an all you can eat place would certainly get my vote.

Sorry guys. We just got back from Colorado last night. You wouldn't believe the Rams up there. Must have been about a 30:1 ratio in our favor over the PSD's. I finally saw my first Duramax the last day we were there. I couldn't say anything pro or con about it. Looked like your basic Chevy to me. The important thing is, those mountain men (and women) have got their mess together. I wonder if there's anything us flatlanders can learn from them.

Whatever ya'll want to do on the 17th is fine with me. As far as I know, I'll be there. But, then again, I need to clear that with my social director. She hasn't shot down any plans yet. Keep us posted.

David

Chris:

Welcome back buddy!!! Pete's tongue
was hanging out from all the "work"
he was doing trying to organize our
February meeting. But yes, I will be
"in attendance" for this one!! Pete
gave me the date in advance so I could
get off work.

---------------
David:

Sounds like you had a good time in
Colorado! I'm sure we could "pick up
some things" from them, especially
how to drive in the snow!

---------------
Stan:

"Taste of Country" sounds fine to me!
I think I was there one time before.
Heh, have you gotten that "Edge" Box
in your truck yet?

-----------------

I should have one more person with me
for the meeting. Pete, is Cecil gonna
be able to make it??

There will be 2. 5 attending from the BIG44 family. Time will be tight, but we will make it by 1:00 and plan on spending a few hours.

David
Looking forward to hearing about trip to God's country, bring some good pictures if you took any.

Chris
Did you come home from the show with a new trailer.

Welcome back David. Good to hear the group getting together. Not sure if the Taste of Country is on 24. All I know is that going towards Wilmington, it is the exit in Warsaw with all the gas stations. I haven't been there in a couple of years so that's an excuse to go to lunch there one day this week to check it out. One thing, unless it has changed, is the parking lot is small. If anyone has a known good place, please suggest it just in case!

Concerning the new PE Comp box, apparently it only exits in picture form in the latest TDR - have no specifics as to what it actually will do and when available. I'll just stick with the 275's for now.

Stan, your right about the place having a small parking lot. And I don't know if they can seat us all together.
Now that Chris is back and he's in charge maybe he will find out for or find an alternate place!! Pete

Thanks Pete. #ad

Let me know how many in your party ? When do you figure on going to the TOC. If they can not handle roughly 20 attendees then lets meet at a Golden Corral somewhere in the middle between the coast and Raleigh. I don't think they will have the Chitlins you are looking for but the food is SoSo.

So far we are at 10. 5 for the 17th. Come on spread the word around and lets get more trucks than we had in Jan.

John
Good to hear from you.

How about Danny, Bruce, The Road runner guy (sorry I don't remember first name)
I guess I stirred the pot enough for the night.
See Ya
