I am not seeing/finding any info needed or known improvements to my 2003 5.9 HO engine. I don't really need any more power and it's 100% stock except for the improved clutch. Places I go are an extreme workout for any engine towing or not with 7-18% grades that go for miles. Literally puts truth to "uphill both ways". I tow now and then, but, more of a DD anymore. The head is being rebuilt at a local reputable machine shop.

So is there anything I should do before the head goes back on?
ARP head studs? (Or will use new head bolts.)
Better valve springs? (Note: Pacbrake equipped.)
Improved Pushrods?

Perhaps I need to be talked out of the above as this 5.9 engine doesn't appear to need it unlike others for example where head studs are nearly a requirement.

We are already putting on a AFE BladeRunner stainless exhaust manifold.

Personally, I would do studs while you are there. Not necessary, but nice to have just in case you end up doing addition mods layer on.
