When I was a kid there was prayer in school, you could buy a gun from a Sears catalog and school shootings were pretty much unheard of.



Now there is no prayer in school, lots of gun control and school shootings are not uncommon.

I fail to see why you think Mr. Ellis is ranting. Unfortionately , he is pretty much right on the money. It is human nature, especially in America to blame things and circumstances rather than ourselves. Self Preservation and all. Why blame ourselves when we can blame other things and others and leave ourselves blameless. In the UK they have no weapons that the public can own and people are now using knifes more and more. It is so bad that they are banning them(knifes). They have erected metal scanners all over London and are confinscating them with the rest of the UK to follow. Next it will be cricket bats and who knows what else. Everyone tries to fix the visible systemic issues instead of the illness. But what else is new. So when someone tells you that if they ban this or that, it will take care of the problem, don't believe them. Prohibiting some else of their free will or right is the way of the ignorant and uninformed. Its always eaiser to tell someone what they can't do than enforce what is right. Just my opinion.

Hammersly FYI in some states you don't get a concealed handgun license you get a concealed weapons license. You can pack a ma duce if it will fit under your jacket.
