Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) any one have an output shaft?

Any one have or know of any one with an extra out put shaft for a 4wd 47re... i broke mine and don't have money to buy a billet shaft and need to get the truck running asap. thanks.

How did you break it? I just ordered a transmission from Dave Goerand, and got everything billet BUT the output. He said they were on order and would a couple of weeks before delivery. Hoping I did not make a mistake... .....

well... in Vegas this weekend was racing a rice rocket, and really wanted to put a hurt on him so, 20psi launch and grabbed the lockup switch a little early and snap, REV, grind. i had 9 passes on the strip who knows how many on the street with 15-20psi launches. I think it would have held if i had taken it out of 4wd before locking it up because i watched the tape and was barely moving when i locked it so it was a stupid mistake on my part, if you don't drag race or sled pull you will probably be alright, the good news is since you have billet everything else when you decide to change the output you won't have to pull the trans. make sure you get a better flex plate while you are at it.

Yea, I have a billet flexplate coming too. I don't think I'll be doing any 20# launches---so I should be ok.
