Any other filters for the Psychotty that aren't K&N?

I am considering a psychotty, but ablosolutly hate K&N filters. I am one of the people who has had one and found dust in the intake. I have also "seen the light" through it. I like the flow and cool air intake idea with the psychotty though. Any one know of alternitives that use a better filter and still draw outside air? Thanks!

I went with an AFE filter in mine and they are a heavier duty constructed filter. In fact I think that is what Scotty is carrying now for his housing.

If you contact Scotty he now only sells the AFE filter with his system as the K&N's have lost some quality control over the years. The last story I heard at our Dyno day was they actually collapse with some of the big turbo guys.

its AFE part number 20-4004 you can also get them from Doug and Andy @ www.smokindiesel.com



they will out flow the K&N but the dirt holding is about the same. as they are of the same type construction. (oiled cotton)
