Any pics of external gate install on ATS manifold?

I would like to see pictures of how some have attached their external wastegates to the ATS manifold. Trying to integrate one into my existing twins. Thank you.

why dont you just build a 2" spacer? much easier and no trying to weld to the manifold. plus if you ever sell it you can remove the spacer with no hole in the manifold. just a idea (although you probably already thought of this) i think theres a pic on piers site of one like that.

oh, i see. i figured you thought of it. i bet you could use a hole saw right in the middle web to make a clean cut and then break the material away inside to leave a hole and then clean the inside with a die grinder. then welding is a different story. kinda a off the wall idea but it could work

I believe Piers sells a maniold that is pre prepped for this in some way. I'd check with them.

You could cut a hole in it, but a spacer works very well.

what brand of wastegate is that from Piers? It'd be interesting to see the inside of the manifold. Is the ATS a split outlet like stock? Some post I read that they were drilling 1. 5" hole in stocker and down a half-inch into the web to allow some room for the gas to get to the wg valve...

It gets a little tighter with the manifold turned upside down.
