I'm buying a set of Nittos that are 295/75R16 and was wondering if anyone has pics of these tires installed on a stock truck (no lift kit). Thanks!

No pics, but they are going to rub your wheel wells really badly.

I was afraid of that. I have worn out 285s on the truck now, but I thought that the 295s were a goods bit larger. I asked the guy at the tire shop of the would rub and he said that 295s will work on Dodges and Fords, but Chevys need to be lifted. As a side note, does anyone have Mastercraft Courser A/T or M/T tires? If so, do you like them.

I am on my 2nd set on my 01. They barely rub on the control arms at full lock with the stock aluminium rims and no lift. Never had any rubbing anywhere else.

It had 285s Firestone Steeltexs when I bought it @ 75k Stock chrome wheels. @ 98k I went with 305/70/16 Cooper Discoverys, then @ about 115k I did the aluminum wheels (see sig). @ 140K I switched to the Nittos 305/70/16 and shortly after the Nittos were added I put the 2 inch steel spacers on.

I never had any tire rub anywhere and the spares have always gone in the stock location between the rails - Guess I'm lucky?

Well, I think I am going to get 285/75R16 Mastercraft Courser C/T's. A buddy of mine has them on his Powerjoke and he says they ride nice and wear great. And they are pretty good looking to boot. Thanks for all the replies!

I tried some 295 tires and they rubbed really bad when I was using them. Worse rubbing was when I would drive around the farm over terraces and ditches, when the truck was on the road they only rubbed when turning or going through dips, things like that. I ran them for about 1000 miles then went to a TOYO M55. 285/75R16. I really like the 285 over the 295. amazing what that 3/4 of an inch does. I rarely rub the 285's. both sets were mounded on aluminum wheels.

I'm running 285/75 R16 Mastercraft A/Ts... only have about 10k on them since I put them on right before I deployed... but they are good tires... quiet and wearing well... I bought a spare and mounted it on a stock aluminum rim, so I have 5 to rotate through now, so hopefully I'll get some more mileage out of the tires.

Here is an old pic of my Rig with 295's on them.

I had these on before I put a lift and 35"s on the truck.

"Firehunter" has the 295' Nittos on his truck and has been very impressed with them. and No - He has no lift.

They are both 2001. 5's with 6+ backspacing on the wheels.

I've got 315's and they don't rub. You will need rims with a bit of an offset though.
