Competition Any pulls in Texas?

I've looked pretty much everywhere that I can think of and can't find any pulls in Texas except in DeLeon in August. Does anyone know of any others? I'm not looking for some huge event, as I'm pretty sure there are'nt any more of those down here, just festivals and county fairs. I plan to pull in DeLeon again, but would like to do it more than once a year.

If you find any let me know. I've been looking for over a year now and the DeLeon pull is the only one I know of.



There just doesn't seem to be much interest down here because people have never seen them. I really think it would take off down here if people were ever exposed to it simply due to the shear number of trucks we have.



I've got a handfull of people wanted to get involved in sled pulling, but nowhere to do it. Taking off of work for 3-4 days and driving 15-20 hours one way to the midwest, is out of the question for most people.

Well, I might have found 2 more. They are sponsored by the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling Association. Both are on the same weekend. Here's the link to their calender. OTTPA calender I'll try to call in the next couple of days to see if they'll let us pull at these events. They're barely in Texas though.

July 3, 4, and 5 in Whitewright. It is a Grand National event for Outlaw. Problem is, they don't have a class to run in. DeLeon used to, but I don't see it on the website. I'd like to see more events down this way because I would like to get involved.
