Looking at selling rental property here in California and investing the funds into real estate in another state.

Anyone know of any areas in the US that are growing that might offer a good return on the investment. I am primarily looking at residental property-single family or a duplex, but will consider anything. If you know-list the property tax rate, if flood insurance is required or any other overhead cost that I may not deal with here in CA.

Contact me by PMing, e-mail -- email address removed -- or here on this thread.

Thanks for any help,

Don

Reno is growing like mad. Tons of people here are doing exactly what you are considering. I don't remember the property tax rate, but any real estate or mortgage company in town can help you with that. Flood insurance is generally not required but it really depends on where you want to buy and the terrain there. Good luck.
