Any recomendation on what paint to use on my ATS manifold?

Well, I can't help but say that the LEADER in performance coatings is Swain Tech. Doug Swain was head of composites at GM for a number of years, and his products are considered the "Gold Standard" in coatings.



I would HIGHLY recommend having the Gold Coat applied to the inside of the manifold at least. They have other coatings for the exterior.

Go to a wood burning stove sales place and get a can of their satin black stove paint. If you clean the manifold surface with lacquer thinner before application, the paint will hold up well. I have used it on several exhaust manifolds and wood burning stoves. It really works. All of the manifolds I have used it on are still looking great.
