Here we go again....Winter Storm Hercules

A friend of mine just bought a 2wd crew cab and chassis down in Atlanta GA. He needs to get it transported up to New Jersey. He has gotten about six different carrier quotes ranging from $450.00- $1000.00. One carrier warned him that the "cheaper carriers" more than likely would not deliver the truck in a one non stop run. The "carrier" said carriers would quote cheap prices and off load your auto in different parts of the country and sit there for a couple of days until they had another rig going in your direction. He just wants his truck loaded in Georgia and unloaded at his house in Jersey. Any help would be appreciated, Frank.

Reliable auto transport
Horseless Carriage auto transport

Wagonwheel auto transport

Have seen the 4 of these Reliable transports HIGH END autos, but are always looking for a back haul, For what ever reason alot of HIGH END European cars come into the port of Louisiana and Texas. Same goes with Horseless Carriage, have seen swift auto transport but if its anything like their freight operation I would be suspect of using them. Wagonwheel transports cars lots of them are repo's that move from Calif to all points, the same goes when the have flood damage cars the transport them OUT of the area and sell them someplace else, they do a bunch of work.

Years ago my Father had a car transported from Calif to VA and no dents dings, but the left the window down when it was loaded and they had hit rain on the trip. It was taken care of but, he really didn't need the hassle.
