Just replaced the oil pan gasket on my '92 Cummins... used to be on my gasser engines I would just go by "feel" and make them snug. With the vibrating diesel I'm not sure that will suffice. I don't have a FSM, does it specify a torque spec and/or sequence?

Thanks.

I'm sure I read in my Cummins manual somewhere, that their torque specs are the same per given bolt size. Like 15mm bolts-10mm bolts are all 18ftlbs.

But anyway by book says 18ft-lbs. Also says 'be sure to fill the joint between the pan rail, gear housing and rear cover with sealant. Use Three Bond 1207-C. ' Whatever that means.
