Dyno Day in North West PA!!!

Houston Session

By the way to calculate Torque reading you take for exampe stock dodge advertized horsepower of 235 but do not know what torque is. Here is how to do it.

H. P X 5252 divided by RPM = Torque.

Example 235 X 5252 / 2700 = 457. 11 LBS Torque.

Remember this for the Dyno Day on sunday!

tim:
how can you do all that cool stuff with this site? today i installed my janetty injectors. it took about six hours! the only real trouble i had was taking off and putting back on the rear fuel line in the head. i didn't notice much improvement over the stock. i guess the dyno will tell all. counting the days till next sunday. talk to you guys soon. james

I talked to Gordon of Practical Solutions Diesel Products this afternoon and ordered the “High Idler” and “Heavy Duty Idler Pulley”. Not only did he give me a great price he seems to be a great guy. I should have both items before we meet #ad

Don’t know if they will be installed, but they will be there for all to see one way or the other #ad

I stand corrected... . 12. 0 sec 3500 came from an ex-cummins guy that now has a V-10 that is in the process of ... ..... More power!! he is coming to the dyno to see if he can hang with the 2-strokers #ad
He admitted he was wrong... 14. something seccond 1/4 mile rig!

Update: Responding to many posts via E-mail. There have been many replys from members and non members alike totaling everybody there should be 25 rigs coming to the event on the first. I want to welcome the 'hardcore' members coming from as far away as portsmith New Hampshire and albany New York! This IS the start of our N. E chapter in a big way and want to ask anyone that may have a logo/banner idea I. E NERamRiggers or of the like to bring your ideas along with you. I have recieved an e-mail from a guy locally who has Close connections with graphic design and possibly printing/silkscreening (I don't recall the later half it has been busy as if y'all couldn't tell) Keep the word and the info flowing!

Thankx,
Tim the "Tool Man" #ad

I want to suggest "If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. " for a logo.

I am still looking for a window in time to be able to get there on Sunday. If I miss, can I come to later meetings?

Adillo, Definatly loke the big dogz thing. See what I mean Those catch phrase things are... . catchy. I still hope you can make it but I still understand and of course you can come to others. I know how it is with the last minute thing myself (8 year olds have an uncanny thing for the good 'ol "by the way" here is this notice from school to set up a meeting time for yesterday) welp gotta run.

I talked to Chip this morning, gave him the info about the "gathering". He thought he could make it,I told him to bring some of his "goodies" for the new guys to see.
Friday he's sending down a "Beta" version of his new Wizard Box. I will install it on a friends 2001. 5 and see how it goes. We'll bring that truck also.
See ya Sunday CPFF
