Any tips for a thermostat change?

Are there any tips that I should know before changing my thermostat?

Thermostat change

Drain some coolant to get the level below the TS housing. Turn the drain valve handle ccw until it stops then pull out to drain. You will need a good 10mm socket and preferably, a 3/8 drive ratchet. There is no gasket, the rubber on the thermostat is the seal. Have fun. bg

Its real easy, i did one a few weks ago, have a clean bucket handy and you can put whatever you take out right back in. Should be a 20 minute deal.
