Any tips for reading the transmission dipstick?

Anybody else have a hard time reading the transmission dipstick? Its no problem when the truck is off and cold, there is a clear line from the oil on the stick. But when the engine is warmed up and running, the oil is so thin it is very hard to tell where the top oil mark is. I try holding the stick up in the sunlight, but it is still difficult to see!



Any tricks for making it easier to see?

After removing it and wiping it off, rapidly reinsert and remove it, hold it level so it does not drip off the end. Some times I have to rotate it and look at the back side to see it.
