Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Any way to tell plate number

Is there anyway to know what plate is the pump??? and how to tell what injectors?? Most of everything the previous owner told me has not been true. I want to check what is in the engine before I change. The truck is 97 3500 Thank you, marc

If you can take it out and post a pic of it on here somebody could probably identify it. Make sure you scribe a line around it before you take it out so you can put it back in the same location.

TST plates will have the # stamped right on the plate. BIG numbers. Can't miss em. With other companies who make plates I have no clue.

Pay attention where it is set at when you remove it [ mark it ] .

The same goes for the afc housing.

The TST plates have numbers.

The stock plates (and some EBAY specials) are two piece and riveted.
