I was wondering if anyone knew what next month's rebates from DC would look like? I am getting ready to purchase a 2002 and wondered if it will be better than the current 3000 next month.

Thanks,

My first post...

I was looking at Dodge Cummins trucks today. I was talking with the "fleet man" about getting a new Cummins. He said that the rebate was currently $3000. I told him I had heard the rebate would change after September 9th and that I was worried about buying a truck this week or next and the rebate jumping up to $4000 afterward. He said it would not but I was skeptical... Of course I know how to tell if a car salesman is lying...

His lips are moving ;)

Well he saw I wasn't quite buying into it so he produced a printout of an email from Daimler Chrysler that had been sent out to a long list of people. The email said that the $3000 rebate would continue through September 30th. Now this could have all been part of a typical car dealer scam but I don't think that it was. Anyway I hope this helps. By the way, You can join the Farm Bureau and get a rebate coupon good for an additional $500 off a new Dodge truck. It only costs about $40 or $50 to join. You can also get $300 off for being a business owner. You can't combine the Farm Bureau ($500) and the businees ($300) rebates together, just one or the other. This means you can get up to $3500 in rebates after you negotiate your best deal. There may be some additional rebates available and if there are, someone please feel free to chime in here. Sorry to be so long winded.

be carefull when counting on the farm bureau rebate you must be a member for at least 30 days before you are eligable for the rebate. I have been a member for years and was surprised how closely DC checks. dont think you can run out and join and get another 500 off.

rebate

when i was checking out prices a year or so ago, both rebates was included. this was stated by the dealer. must have been changed.
