2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission anybody converted to power windows?

I'm getting kinda tired of having to lean over to the other side of the cab to roll up my windows whenever I get out of the truck. I love riding with my window's down, but would love it even more if I have could power windows.



Anybody converted to PW's? How hard is it? Did you use new parts, or find a donor truck?

I got lazy..........

Had them put in power locks, windows and an alarm all at the same time.



One window crapped out within a month. They replaced it and everything has worked fine for 2 years now.



The after market units actually crank the window. It's a gear that fits over the existing handle spline once you remove the handle. They give you a cap to take the handles place. Simple installation. The wiring would be the hard part. That and getting the switches cut in. Mine look a little hokey. But then it's a work truck and it doesn't even have carpet.



If you wanted everything to look stock it would probably be easier to swap doors off a bone yard truck.
