Anybody else's quad doors squeak?...

new truck, only 9k miles. Right rear door squeaks over bumps, etc. Anybody had a dealer fix it? Anything I can do myself? Thanks.

I know I can usually solve my passenger door squeaks by making sure the passenger quad door is closed tightly (i. e. you can't move it and make it squeak while the front door is open).

Personally, don't spray Armor All on the rubber door seals. You would be better off spraying WD-40 on them.



I sprayed Armor All on my '97 Chevy and what didn't squeak started.



My 2001 never squeaked and I kept Armor All away from those door gaskets.



So far with 2600 miles on my 2002 no squeaks.

Napa sells a product called "Door ease" it comes in a metal tube with a stick inside. sort of pushs up as you use it. It gets rid of squeeks, is cheap & lasts a long time (my tube is over 10 years old) I usuall apply once or twice a year, just push some out of the tube & rub on the weather stripping, that's all there is to it. My tube is black w/ yellow & white leters on it. It also keeps the doors for freezing shut in the winter months.

I use amour all and the doors dont squeak! Maybe it's the deep south and humidity that keeps them from squeaking.
