Talking to an oil rep, and he was telling me about SWEPCO engine and transmission oil. Apparently it is solvent extracted rather than crack tower? extracted. Also their transmission oil has 10 times the amount of anti-wear additives and some European trans manufacturers will double the transmission warranty when using this stuff... The thing that scares me is that there is no API "donut" with the classification on the back, so I am not too sure about this product...

I HAVE BEEN USING SWEPCO OIN IN MY TRANY FOR 3 YEARS AND IT WORK REAL WELL. IT HAS A FLASH POINT OF SOMETHING LIKE 4,000*. WHEN I SOLD MY 96 DODGE THE TRANY WAS IN PERFECT SHAPE. I HAD A SHIFT KIT IN IT AND BD TORQUE CONVERTER. IT SHIFTED LIKE A DREAM.
