Anybody got a spotlight?

The kind you drill through the A-pillar (police style). I've got a twin-pod gage set-up, and I'm thinking about moving it up as hight as I can, then mount the spot light. Anyone got input?

I personally prefer the handheld type you plug in the lighter. I've seen some newer spots that move electronically via a hand held joystick, they were about $80 and looked good. Main advantage would be that you only need to drill a smaller hole for the wires through your truck and could locate it anywhere you want.

Yeah I've got one (was in the attic, new in the box when I moved in), haven't yet found the cojones to drill one of my vehicles to mount it.



Too afraid it would weaken the A-pillar to drill a hole that size.

Can't think it would weaken it too awful much, or they wouldn't sell 'em right? I've seen quite a few on Ram city/county trucks, Ram state troopers, etc.



I wouldn't mind drilling as long as there's no future leaks (like putting in an aftermarket sunroof). They should have this figured out, as many and as long as they've been around.



What's the best brand name?
