Not yet, I have an elbow piece I was able to fit nicely in the outlet port for the blowby and a plastic PVC piece screwed into that which I can connect a hose to. I can take a pic of what I have so far and post it. Unfortunately this project will take a couple weeks to complete because I have to send the stuff out to be powdercoated and my truck will be out of commission since I am doing the lower section as well (which goes between the upper cover and the cylinder head).

I'll have to put the insurance back on my '68 Cougar 'cause that's my "backup" car, the newest vehicle I own besides my Ram. I gotta psych myself into driving a car with black vinyl interior and no A/C . . . interior Northwest is into the triple-digits now  That's Bombing dedication for ya ;)

A Cougar with no AC?? I thought the Cougars were the more "upscale" platform over the Mustangs.

I had a 68. 5 Stang with no AC but it had the 428CJ! Is your Cougar a Big Block?

LOL Nickle, a sawsall would fix it all right, but doesn't do much for the value of the car

Matt it does have the factory AC, some Cougars had the dealer-installed AC with the unit under the dash or something. Unfortunately it hasn't worked since I bought the car in '94. It was my daily driver for a few years, some summers were brutal but I couldn't afford to get it fixed. Worst trip in that car was from here to Walla Walla one summer when it was 108.

Luckily it's supposed to cool down to the 90s and maybe 80s next week.

Not to hi-jack the thread but...

Vaughn, I had a '68 Cougar GT. 390(335 hp)/C6 transmission, 9" rearend. Sweeet. I wish I still had it! Actually now I wish for a '68 Cougar XR7-G with a 428!

Man, great site. I remember seeing a maroon '68 XR7-G sitting on a corner for sale for period of time for like $3,500! I was a struggling punk with no money or that car would have been mine in a heartbeat! It was either a 427 or 428 CJ car. I would have bet money it was a CJ, but after seeing that only 6 of 'em were made, I'm inclined to think it must have been the 427. Doesn't matter now though, it's long gone. A bodyshop I do work for once in a while just did a restoration on a green '68 XR7-G. It is awesome. It's a big block but I don't know which one.
