For a 2001. Good friend of mine pulled his truck up to a parking spot and slid in some mud.

Of all the things he hit - he hit a boat. :{ The boat was on stands and he rubbed the bottom part of the bow against the top of his hood.

Took a big digger in the hood. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, whats that website of the guy that does the ram air hoods???

I do.

I have a hood off of a '96 gasser that should fit perfectly. I had been saving it to possibly do some intake mods to, but I just traded the '99 for a 2003. I don't need it anymore.

I replaced the hood on my '96 after a cinder block got kicked up from the car in front of me and smashed my windshield right in front of my face after it skipped off the hood. There is a minor scrape and dent in the hood that could be easily repaired.

The hood is Flame Red clearcoat and is otherwise in perfect condition.

I also found this in the classifieds.

I'd take $200 for it if buyer pays shipping. I think I could crate it myself for you.

I'll post a pic in a few... .

I just uploaded photos into my readers rigs gallery. Click on the blue link below my name at left to go to the gallery. I've got three pics. One shows the whole hood, one shows the dent from the side and one shows the dent from the front.

The dent is really very minor, and could be fixed easily before painting.

Thanks guys.

We found one brand new unpainted for $289

For that price we jumped at it. even more so that we found it in this state.

Thanks again for your help.
