Wondering if anybody out there have a full BD transmission in your 3rd gen truck(s)? What are your experiences? I ask this because there does not seem to be alot of information on real world comparision with others such as gorerends, dtt, hts, ats, etc. Also another reason I ask this is because I have a local diesel performance shop that is about 40 minutes away that sells/services BD and Banks products, with the emphasis on BD, according to its owner. It is the only diesel performance shop in the state of North Dakota that I know of, that does the full service. Of course, there are some little shops around ND that would install chips and such, but nothing like the FULL service shop like the one within 40 mins of me. Thanks.

I installed a BD transmission in my 04' 2500 Cummins, while it's a great transmission you don't need to spend all that money on one. Get the Valve body and their billet torque converter, with the TrokLock controller.

I had one in my 99.

I live just north of you and i'am pretty sure I know who your talking about.

PM me if you want info.

I had a full BD billet transmission in my 03', and it was absolutely flawless. I pulled my stock transmission, sent it to them, and they went through it and told me what failed. They then BUILT my transmission and sent it back to me which I appreciated. I put 15k hard miles on it with my truck at about 550rwhp without a hiccup, and the guy that bought the truck from me has not had any troubles what-so-ever. I plan on putting a VB and TC in my 06' before long, and once again it will certainly be from BD.
