No first hand, but I did suggest to a friend who is an overhead door and gate contractor that he take a look at the Sprinter. He replied that he had spoken with a local heating and cooling contractor who liked the vehicle and the mileage of the diesel, but was getting sick of the tow bills during the winter months and from new construction sites.
Seems that with the diesel in the front end, the Sprinter has a propensity to stuck itself unless on solid, dry surface. Probably doesn't matter in Phoenix, but in West Michigan can be a challenge.
