I have been doing a lot of searching on exhaust and came up with one company that does not seem quite right. As I have always found out some things are too good to be true. The prices are really low and shipping is included BUT they say on the site that the part numbers have been shaved so that the company they got all the overstocks from don't get sent back to that particular company in the case of a return.

That is the part that didn't seem right. Does anyone have any experience with these people or know anything about them? They are also on ebay which is how I actually found them. I am enclosing a link to the site also. Any insite would be appreciated. :)

I bought stacks from one of their eBay auctions about 2 months ago. The stacks you get probably aren't going to be perfect. I got three pairs in a lot and they all have minor imperfections if you go over them with a fine tooth comb. Their prices, packaging/shipping and service are good though. Not sure what to tell you about the SNs being filed off. Didn't really bother me.

I have seen these things go either way, some companies claim this and are horrible knockoffs, some really do sell factory blemishes or not so perfect stock. I would allways beware of those sites, or stores.

Customer service from chromroom is absolutely awesome. They took care of me and my fine tooth comb immediatly with more than what was necessary.

thats where I got my stacks as well. after two years, just a few little pits and spots of rust, but I rarely ever clean them, if I polished them and kept the mclean they probably would look like new!
