Currently in first semester working towards AAS in Diesel Technology at Pennsylvania College of Technology ( http://www.pct.edu/degrprog/dd.shtml ) General ed classes are going to be my demise though... In major specific courses, currently I am #1, but I am failing my College Algebra and Trigonometry II class with flying colors

Will,

Don't let algebra and trig dig you into a snowbank, if you need a hand drop me an e-mail and I will send you Uncle Mikey's famous 10-minute algebra lesson :p.

Seriously, would be glad to help and I bet a lot of the other guys would too.

At this point I am so far behind that I don't know if I can pull it off this semester. It's kind of BS as they make your schedule first semester and you have no say in it. I am four levels of math beyond required for the curriculum, and can't drop unless I fail this semester, which is most likely the situation I am in... .

I should be in school this time next year ... or so.

My job decided to move to mexico. :(

After being out of school for 20+ years, I aint looking forward to this, but I'd like to get out of my current (dying) field, and I'm told that a huge portion of my tuition (if not all of it) will be payed for.

I have to fing out more about this.

I'm thinking the medical field.

To be quite honest, I probibally wouldnt make the money I'm making now w/o a college degree anyway.

Well, after 8 ridiculous years, I'm about 2 months away from finishing my PhD at Utah State in Science Education.

So, to keep from being bored, I'm enrolled in the local Tech college with Auto Upholstery. Of course, I'm the only girl in the class. Going to redo the inside of the CTD. Any great suggestions?

Next class, auto body, then autopaint. Next year diesel mechanics... .

Guess that will make me a jack (jill?) of all trades...

I have a BS Biology from CSU. Now I'm working on a Masters of Divinity at Denver Seminary.

I'm sure everyone sees the connection in the degrees.

I was just shy of my MSEE and decided I didn't want to do this anymore, so I am taking the prereq classes to get me into veterinary school. Any vets out there know if vet schools want electrical engineers as much as medical schools do?
