Am considering replacing the HPCR engine if it ever grenades down the road from a cracked injector failure with a P Pump 12 valver or at least a p-pump conversion. Question centers around how much of a hassle is it to convert as there will surely be a few issues with the ECM and gauges codes etc.
Anyone ever done this conversion?
I love the truck but the HPCR, while probably the most advanced 5. 9, has a few more issues and concerns for longevity and ease of repair vs. my old 96.
Plus I miss the noise of the 12 valver more and more. :{
