So I am driving along and start hearing a sqeaking sound. It only happens when my exhaust brake activates. Anybody else have this happen to them? Kinda early only 2300 miles. I did not see anything in the instructions about lubrication for the butteryfly valve. So any help would be apperciated.

The noise you might be hearing is a vacuum leak. . to find them I suggest that you take a 3 ft long piece of heater hose... hold one end to your ear and run the other end around fittings and vacuum can... you'll hear a rush of air or a wooshing sound in the end of the hose if you find a leak... .

When your brake is turned on... check it for exhaust leaks... you should no be able to hear any noise when the brake comes on or goes off... but you might hear an exhaust leak... .

In either case don't point the end of the hose in your ear... put it along side your ear so anything that might be blown up the hose can't enter your ear... .

Hope this has been of some help... .

BTW don't use a standard oil on any of the brackets and fittings around the brake... . if you wish to lube it... use something fully synthetic... . standard oil will burn off under the temperatures around the turbo... and cause more problems. .
