I am going to fabricate a flatbed for my HO and want to make sure it is not heavier than the factory bed. Anybody have numbers on this? George

I don't have factual numbers, however when I had mine off, 4 guys (1 at each corner) could remove it with ease, IMO it doesn't go heavier than 300#'s.

When I fabricated my Aluminum....

flatbed (and it is no lightweight structurally), my son and I were able to lift it on and off. I would venture to say (Kind of bragging here) it is stronger than a lot of steel flatbeds out there.

I think the 300# guess is pretty close for a SRW bed.

Steve-your truck looks like mine wants to, I think. The reason I am looking for weight of the OEM bed is that I want to build an aluminum flatbed. Maybe a dumper. I want to side load stuff and carry my sleds in the winter. SRW with sides that fold over to make it an 8' wide bed for sleds. Glad to see you are as light or lighter than facory. Thanks. That was my goal. George
