Bypass filter element test run

something along the lines of a westach 2 1/16" combo going to 50# would be perfect but i can't find one that just does boost on both sides, i am gearing up to play with a he351vg and drive pressure would be handy to know and my current 30# isspro is too small already and is due for replacement, a single gauge drop in would be handy so i can see both readings at a glance, the only dual air pressure gauges i can find go to 120# or more which is semi useless when i am likely not going to exceed 40-45#. i am already running a isspro egt and fuel pressure on the a pillar besides boost and am thinking about a garrett turbo rpm gauge on a column mount so id like to not need to add a 2nd boost gauge or replace my existing egt if i don't have to with a westach boost/egt to keep everything close and handy

something like this in a proper range would be perfect if a westach doesn't exist

Call westach directly or go to there website and find their "build a gauge" option. They will BUILD you a dual boost gauge for not much more then 2 gauges would cost... it will match thier existing style of gauges, white or black.

i will probably give that a try, matching existing gauges is not a primary concern but it would be nice, if it bugs me ill sell off the isspros and get westach's but at this moment i am just looking at gathering parts, i still need the coupler part of a 6. 7 down pipe to weld to my down pipe and figure out the other plumbing (the turbo should be here next week) then accumulate the parts i need to build the manual control for the vg rack, i have plans to have a working exhaust brake but haven't decided on vacuum or air to actuate that part, if i can't do vacuum then i need to install air on the truck to run the 2nd actuator which i eventually wanted but later then sooner due to cost and priority of need

i thought about that and have not seen it yet in passing, but have not directly searched for it

If you find an oil psi and boost psi combo that will work too.

Westach is the way to go. They do custom gauges, no problem. Ed B

The SPA captures the high point to so after a run you would be able to review the peak boost pressure(s), just a thought.

I run a dual gauge for fuel pressure and EGT, very easy to read at a glance IMO.

i got a reply from westach and here it is, not sure the coolness of a single gauge is worth $410 plus s/h

Yes we can make the dual boost 0-50 psi on both sides. 2 1/16" is our standard automotive size.

The basic dual gauge is $102. 20, then we add the new dial art work set up $50. 00 and the senders will have to be remote. The dual boost/egt the sender is built inside but there isn't enough room to get two senders in on case. So a remote box with senders would be $257. 00

I think your going to need more than 50# for DP. . The VGT can be an EB and that should get you 60#'s.
