Anybody near Niantic CT?

Long story short...

Two of my best friends were pulling their fifth wheel from Boston to Louisiana and got into an accident

They didn't have collision, so no insurance coverage!

Truck is mechanically perfect, and they have to get back on the road... so I'm trying to find someone who'd like to buy the truck.

I don't want a truck but if they want to have someone responsible pick the truck up and help them sell it on e-bay or something let me know I'd be willing to help, infact I am off until next Friday so timing would work good for me. Also I could get a trailer to haul, let me know soon though so I can plan.



Out of curiosity what is the truck?

Truck is a '93, 5-spd 250 quad-cab 4wd.

Dwight and Cheryl bought it from a long-time friend who was the original owner... he was extremely meticulous about the maintenance on the truck (ex-military).

It had some dents and dings, and the roof and hood paint was bad (peeling, bad factory primer I'm told), but was an amazingly solid truck.

I'm so bummed it's totaled... my '03 is the first truck I've ever owned, but the first gen's are by far my favorites, and this one was nice.

Problem solved, he found a buyer for the truck and bought a new used one from the TDR classifieds out of NY.
