20 years ago when I was surveying we were supposed to get a 5000 acre tract to survey for development. Went out looking for a way to carry stuff around the site. At the time 4-wheelers were not commercially available but the Mule could be found from time-to-time. Survey deal fell through but I tried to obtain a Mule or two anyway - nobody would part with them unless they were broke beyond repair. I agree with Hammersley - they are a better vehicle for hauling than an ATV. Like the old military Jeeps, they ain't fast or pretty but they will take you wherever you want to go.
