Anybody order a truck recently?

Tomeygun said mine would be end of January at the earliest due to the holiday's. Everything from the plant to the railroad slows down or stops for the holidays. Guess I can't blame them really!

Just got off the phone with the dealer. My new Mega Cab was not on the first truck. He is looking for it today. If it does not get there today it should be first of next week. I hope today I will let y'all know. Oo. May be even a pic of the 97 silver and the 06 silver side by side. I have a 700 mile round trip pulling a trailer next weekend I sure would rather do it in the new truck.

12:12pm. When I hit post my phone rang... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... IT IS AT THE DEALER... ... ... 33 Days from order to the dealer. He told me to come get at 4:30pm today. The salesmen said it looks good and it was the most loaded pick up they have ordered. The only thing I did not get was the auto trans. They wanted too much for a jack brake. I will go to the big truck dealer and order. I will save just under $ 300. 00.

When I ordered my 04 back in Oct of 03 it took 9 days from order to arrival at the dealer. I guess I got lucky.

Hey Jeff, I almost ordered my truck at that date, thank the CTD gods I did not. I walked on the lot in april 04 and found my new truck with the new CTD 600 and paid 5K less than sticker, everything on the truck I wanted except for snowplow pkg. ( I live so cal) Just got lucky!

was quoted 6 weeks but it took 9

the truck was stuck in a railyard in north dallas for 2 weeks

it is worth the wait though,(as frustrating as it might be)

this truck has no comparison !

Ok I have been out playing with the NAV system and the rear seat Video Entertainment system. The Viedo is great. You can do sat,cd,am,fm or dvd back there all with the head sets. I know it has been said before they need a 3. 55 or higher gear. I am doing around 62mph to 64mph at 2000 rpm. In my 97 with 285's and 3. 54's I am doing 70 mph at 2000rpm. Will try to post some pics later.

hey tow pro you acutally got a ship date from your dealer?where did you order it from. I odered mine from dsm and mine is built and was shipped to storage in Mexico not to be seen by me until the first of the year.

I live in SE PA. Mine is from DiAmbrosia Dodge in Downingtown. All we know is that Dodge expects to ship the truck Dec 9, but it could end up like yours. I think they put them on a boat from Mexico to Baltimore MD for the east coast?



AS for Power Masters, It is a Cummins Thing.

Ordered new 06

Ordered 3500 LARAMIE QUAD CAB 4X2 yesterday Dec. 2, 2005. Received VON # as soon as order was placed. I was given 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. Will see when it arrives.

Hmmm, just talked to my sales guy. He says it was shipped as planned on last Friday from Mexico and is on its way to me. Is supposed to be here some time next week. I'm a bit concerned with what you all are saying on here though. So we'll see.

I asked my salesman about the trucks on this bord waiting then shipping. He said trucks to us ship quick because there are a lot that ship out of our railyard to East Texas . That way a rail car load does not take long to pool. Were if you order a truck your trucks waits till there is a full rail car going to your delevery point.

Down here everybody and there grandmother drives a truck.

I don't know if it is true or not but it sounds good.

Well called my dealer this afternoon and found my salesman went to FLA for vacation----cant blame him with weather here in single digits------and talked to owner and they got my truck in Sat and were going to call today------thay have my truck in and I will be going down tomorrow for inspection. I think it took from ordering to delivery about 6 weeks. I just hope the new one is as good as my 03---------NO PROBLEMS what so ever with the 03

I'm actually hoping mine takes a little while to show up at the dealer. I've got a 1500 leased that doesn't end until March. 2 truck payments for more then a month or two will kill me!

Enjoy yoru new truck Ken. Mine is scheduled to Ship Friday, but its still D1. Guess they run it through the line is 1 day?



I hear shipping might take 4 weeks. They put them on a boat and run them up to Baltomore MD, then truck them to the NE.

I pick my new one up Friday------they are putting 285's on it tomorrow-----I also ordered a few accessories as well. Just having a hard time finding correct pinion factor.

On Dec 11 2005, Mexico gave birth to a 6800lb Gray Baby Laramie boy. They quickly drove it to the JS Storage lot (waiting to be shipped), but at least someone got to drive it.



I figure my turn comes in around 3 or 4 weeks Oo.
