Anybody order a truck recently?

Dealer told me he is scheduled to receive my truck in Jan 23.

He has one just like mine (only SLT) on the lot so I stopped by to check it out.



I was happy when I looked into the glove box and saw that paper that says I can use my slide-in camper. (it was rated for something like 1950 lbs).



I did not see Combination weight written on the truck anywhere. The manual was sealed in a blister pack bag so I did not want to open it.

well I suppose that is good you have a date. But sure seems like a long time to go from mexico to PA. Mine is still waiting for the train north.

Who knows, maybe the salesman just figured it should be here within 3 weeks, so he picked jan 23 as a date so I will stop calling him



Next milestone date is Jan 4. To see what new rebates Dodge has to offer.

I did notice the experation date disapeared on the "free gas" offer

I can feel your frustrations... . I ordered mine on October 25th and received it on October 32nd... . My wifes brother's uncle's daughter's husband's twin brother is the plant manager in Satillio. He got it built sooner!!!!!!! Sorry, couldn't pass that one up. .



Mine took about 8 weeks but I really did order it early. Seems like there is a huge demand all of a sudden or DC is slowing the build and ship process to increase demand!!!!! Maybe to increase price??????

Just a thought but who am I???

Troy, I ordered same day as you but for some reason the Mega's are being delivered faster then Quads. I think they put the Megas on top priority because they want to get them out in the public's eye and make them more popular. I bet they are putting a lot of faith in the Mega as there next big seller.



I also thought they might be holding back on Diesel deliveries until 06. I know VW halted Diesel orders in early october. VW hit there max diesel numbers and had to stop, or pay the EPA a big fine for going over there emissions tier level.

Just a thought.

I think you hit the nail on the head with that statement. The local Dodge dealer here has had a brand new Mega out in front of thier place for almost 2 months now though! It is a 2500 4x4 SLT with HEMI not a Cummins however.

You know I can see Dodge not moving unsold quad cabs in favor of mega's but damn special orders you think they would want some customer satisfaction and ship ours. Sorry getting a little ****** at the whole thing. Having to borrow a buddies car during all of this. You don't know how much you need a truck untill you do not have one. Well here's to still waiting. I think I will have another beer. Later

Last I heard about mine from Tomeygun was that it had made it in to Texas... that was the week of Christmas. Apparenty trucks shipping to St. Louis don't have to hop a ride on a boat like the NE bound trucks do. Haven't heard anything since but Tomeygun said he will bump me as soon as it arrives at his (former) dealership! Oo.

Dealer said mine was being loaded on the boat tomorrow. He has several sitting waiting for the boat. Some been there for over a week. Its getting closer



Once the boat leaves it will go to Baltimore, but how long it sits in Baltimore is another question. I was excited today that Dodge was going to change there rebates for the month. Seems they left them the same until Jan 9th . I think they are waiting to see what GM and Fard do.

anybody ordered a new truck lately?

Ordered my 06 Laramie Quad Cab 3500 6spd on Dec. 2, 05. Checked today with dealer and it is coded D1 = Gateline schedule - scheduled to be built. I guess it will be at least another 4 wks. or more before I see it. Have to plan on selling my 02 3500, but don't want it to sell to fast as I don't want to be with out a truck.

My toy is on a railcar traveling through Wyoming

Well I've been lurking on this thread ever since I ordered my truck on November 24th. Just got off the phone with my dealer and he told me it's on a railcar and should be delivered to the dealer on Jan 18th, and that's to Canada.



Now the hard part, I had it delivered 1500 miles away so that I can pick it up and go on holidays, but I ordered it early so it would be there. So now I'll have 5 weeks to wait before I can even see it, let alone drive it. Of course after seeing other people waiting for longer I don't imagine I'll get much sympathy.

I ordered my 1993 W-250 Cummins and it never came. Waited a year for the truck, finally went elsewhere and bought one off the lot.
