TowPro, I'm sure your truck will be at the dealer soon if it isn't there already. I ordered a MegaCab, from Young Dodge in Easton, PA, on November 2nd. It was built November 18th and was scheduled to be delivered on December 15th. On December 16th, I called the dealer to see when I could pick up my truck, after calling the district rep. , they informed me the truck was still sitting in a holding lot in Mexico. My salesman told me not to expect it until around January 19th. Well, I got a call today around 6:00pm that my truck was being unloaded from the carrier. I go to pick it up on Saturday.

It seams as though the boat has landed and trucks are beginning to show up.

Ptomlinson, Congrats on the new truck!

By the way, I was in your little town a couple years ago installing Cell site equipment. Nice place! The 2 things I remember most was the old hotel I stayed in (old enough to be an original building on the alcon highway I think) and the way you have Bald Eagles in numbers like we have crows here in PA! Nice place to visit (but I bet your winters get a little cold for my wife)

My truck should have been on that boat! But Monday 16th in the morning tracking still showed it in Saltillo. Maybe I will call the guy today and see where it is. They are calling for snow this weekend so I expect it will be here. Nothing like taking home a new 2wd in the middle of a snow storm!

Wonder if Jtryles is enjoying his new ride? I guess he's still on the road.

Sorry so long to report in! 10 hours drive home from St. Louis to north-of-Detroit area on Wednesday. Rolled in about 10pm. Hand calculated mileage on the way home was 16. 7!!! I ran with the cruise set at 70-75. Oo.

Very nice truck and Bill Miller at Lou Fusz made everything go smoothly once we got there.

Very first impression? WHERE IS 7th GEAR??? This thing is geared WAY low. I bet it tows VERY WELL though. 70 MPH equals about 2200-2300 RPM. 80 MPH is about 2500-2600!!

I'll write more and get some pictures up in my profile SOON! Promise! :-laf

Oh yea- first BOMB is done! AFE Stage II (Proguard 7) is ON! A little more turbo whistle and a tad more off the line acceleration- verified only by "butt-dyno" so that's, of course, IMHO! ;)

Thanks, now for more waiting until I pick it up...

Cold??? It isn't cold up here, we were a balmy -30C yesterday (-22F) and today we are starting out at -27C :p . Of course that doesn't explain why my parents winter in the Californian desert. Actually we've had a very warm winter, without much cold weather and it's causing problems. Most lakes around here aren't frozen, and the one's that are can't support any weight. We've had many days above freezing that should have been -10 to -20.

That's great! PS: AS of 10:45 EST, mine is still sitting in mexico :(

Dealer said zone rep is due in his office today, poor guy, I would like to be a fly on the wall in that meeting :)

Doesnt make sense for them to build the freakin things and then let them sit there like someone said they arent interested in the trucks that are already sold I guess.

Mine was built in St. Louis the first week of December. It sat on the rail car in Wyoming for several weeks, and finally arrived here Monday. I pick it up tomorrow.

I Received conformation today on 01/16/06 my truck is KZ (invoiced and released by plant) now it waits for a ride north.

so here is my question my rail car is now in Spokane Wa. about an hour from DSM what are the odds they will off load my truck there. It is the usaul place for them to ship out from. But my invoice says Portland Or. does not make much sense to bring it all the way back to Oregon. Well I will hope they off load it now so I am close to picking up my truck hopefully.

Fireman, I finally received clarification on the Portland charges on our invoices, it's advertising charges they said all vehicles pay this.

Mine has something like that also.

YDH Customer one Owner Loyalty Mailing $25. 00

T03 Philadelphia Zone - DAA $250. 00

B03 Philadelphia zone PPA/EB-PF $210. 00

I spoke with the accesory manager he knew more then the sales guy. My truck is in Spokane will be unloaded there and sent by truck to dealer. So hopefully real soon. No one knows how long to get a truck to ship it from what I was told trucks only carry 5 pickups each. Been a long wait since October,Hoped for a Christmas present now it is a birthday present.

Ordered my mega cab 3500 1/19/06. Happen to stop by the dealer 1/22/06 to check on exhaust brake. Spoke to truck fleet manager, he punched up the computer and found out I had a vin. number already and should get my vehicle in 4 weeks. Hope that puts a smile on your face it sure did to me. Hope this helps.

The dealer called. They are loading my truck onto a train in Mexico. This train only takes it to the boat where it gets to sit again. (they already told me once it was on this train).

Anyway, I ordered it 13 weeks ago. It was built 6 weeks ago, and its just now leaving the factory

Now the ETA is Feb 17th. That's almost 17 weeks after date of order :--)

Called my rep. whoa hoo it's on it's second rail car, apparently it left Val, IL on 1/23/06 and should arrive spokane on 01/30/06. I'm excited about my truck arrival.

I received all my paper work from DSM and as it turns out they did not order my truck until 12/05/05.
