My truck came in last night, was running a few days behind, but saw it at the dealership when I passed by the other night. I am anxious. They are putting my 35's on now. The TRX4 package came with BFG all terrains which is a surprise, but with the truck setting level already with the factory plow package that sets the front higher, the 35's will look good I think.

I think I can get it today... and better yet Dodge is doing $0 down and 0% interest for 5 years. :)

It comes with extra skidplates and all terrain tires. I think it was a $290 option. Also comes with the TRX4 logos on the side rear part of the bed.

What the heck is a TRX4 package? Is that a dealer option?

I was intending to ask if the snow plow prep added anything to the front height. ANybody get one on a 3500 that can verify a difference?

Just called the dealer, he said my ETA has been pushed back a week!

I raised Heck :-{} . He called zone rep and called me back.

Right now my truck is on a ship, 1 to 2 days out of Baltimore. Dodge has agreed to expedite it. He says it should be the first one through customs and on the first truck north. He said he was going to call me everyday with an update.

Then I looked at the weather site. Sure hope my truck has its sea legs, there is a heck of a noreaster going to start below Baltimore Saturday. They are forecasting a major snow storm in the NE this weekend!

Maybe the Captan will turn up the speed to beat the storm to the docks. ;)

Jeez, they are really yankin your chain Will, I have had bad experience with a CTD from that very dealer. I paid cash for the truck and they out a lean on it as if it was financed... hope it gets here soon, Btw what do you think happens after they paint a truck down there in salsa ville?? whats next on the agenda

By the time you heard it was being painted, My bets are the truck was already done. It will role off the assembly line and into a parking lot. After a couple days they move it from that parking lot, through a gate to another parking lot for the shipping people. At that time its pronounced KZ "released from factory". Once its KZ the 1800 number will not give you anymore information.

It will get moved around the 2nd parking lot a couple times, then get put onto a train which goes south east to Veracruze. I think the train ride was around 3 days including waiting to get unhooked in Veracruze.

Once in Veracruze it gets put onto a boat headed for Baltimore. I think mine hit Veracruze on Jan 25 and today it was 1 to 2 days away from Baltimore.

Hope this helps.

The dealer will see a "train car" tracking number on his computer once its loaded. Go to This website once you have that number and you can track your truck. Some times this link gives you text output, sometimes it gives you a nice graphic screen. If you get the text output just watch the names. Oriental is the start location, veracruze is the finish location. Once its in veracruze it will say "released to industry" when its being unloaded. On mine when I could see the graphic screen, it said my train car was empty, but the truck still got there so they must not use that part of the screen in Mexico. Now it only takes around 3 days from when it loads until its unloaded. The dealers records are updated every day at 9:00am so get the date of last update from him, your truck may already be at the docks.

I notice the train car my truck was on (it was on it last trip) just left oriental last night so there is another load on the way to the docks, maybe yours is on it!

Well, I know it didn't make a difference on my 2500. I have the snow plow prep. and the rear sets up 2" higher in the rear. So what I thought at first about the snow plow prep. didn't come out the way I thought.

6 weeks from order to delivery

Looks like the order lead times are getting shorter compared to last year. I ordered a Quad SB 4x4 on 1/13, sales guy called today and said it's due on his lot 2/24, that would be six weeks delivery to Northern KALEFORNIAA.
My last CTD was a 94 auto LB, so after 12 years I'm due for new. I just hope all the electronics controlling my engine treat me well, I never had to FLASH the 94'

Just called my dealer, this afternoon it changed to "in bay at facility in Baltimore". I sure hope it don't mean its in the "Chesapeake Bay"! He was calling the zone rep as soon as I hung up with him :-{}

Since the Zone rep has marked my truck "code red", the dealer said it might be here tomorrow :D

Yesterday was 17 weeks

My ONLY request was "leave that front license bracket off!!!!!". Seems they have to punch holes in that nice bumper to put the dealer advertisement plate on. In pa we only use rear plates.

Just ordered a Mega cab 3500 Laramie,SRW 4x4 auto, sun roof ,nav radio leather bucket seats, side air bags rear dvd, trailer mirrors,U connect, and anything else I could think of :D Thanks scott for FFP and dodge for 0% for 60

I'm not a betting man, and Not trying to start a roomer but lets look at the following information.

March 1st Dodge introduces the 4500-5500 with the cummins 6. ?

GM has there new engine out that beats Dodge's numbers

Ford's 6. ? is due out last 1/4 of 06.

Now lets say Starting March 1st, Dodge starts taking orders on the 45-5500 for June delivery. Why not switch the 25-3500 to that same new motor and win the HP wars again? That would mean anything ordered after March 1st might come with the new engine? They could call it an 07 because the 07 engine will meet 06 emissions. Remember the ISB came out in July 98. There are several other . 5 changes if I recall.
