I absolutely encourage you to go straight to DD2's or 3's. (I should have done 3's myself, and still may in the near future) DD1's will just tease you and make you mad that you spent all the time to install them and could have done the DD2's in the same time for only $100 more, or 3's for only $200 more, but could have added so-o-o much more power. #ad

I'm really wishing 'big time' that I had listened to J. Donnelly or Nowel(HVAC) and gone straight to DD3's! I had my truck on a DynoJet today. The DD2's produced what was advertised [+ 68. 3 hp,] but I want more, more, MORE!!! What wrong with me? This is driving me crazy #ad

Yes I got the gauge,thanks so much. I sent you a Yahoo IM message as my email is still broken. My friend was able to see a major loss of boost that was traced to a swiss cheese intercooler in that big Ford.

DD stands for Diesel Dynamics, one of many sources of performance parts for our rigs.

Okay, I went and read dieseldynamics.com, so now I'm full of questions.

Injectors: straight-forward: they're better injectors, right?

Boost module: what does this _actually_ do, and what does it plug into? The web site claims it "allows" the boost to reach beyond 30psi.

From everyone's talks, it seems that adding an EZ to this setup is a Good Thing. Do the boost module and EZ end up getting in eachother's way?

And... at what point does the stock manual transmission start having issues with power mods?

DD injectors are better than stock. They are extrude honed and matched as a set. That means they will all have the same spray patterns and have the same pop open pressures. Yes they are much better than stock and the Bosch RV 275 injectors.

The boost module allows your turbo to boost more than 19. 5 pounds. I think it will boost up to 30 lbs.

I'm using a Practical Solutions boost module with my DD1's and it works well. PS boost module is very reasonable in price too. I paid something like $140. 00. Give Gordon a a call at 406-727-5144. I also ordered the replacement steel pulley from him for around $45. 00. Much better than the crappy plastic one.

Forgot... the boost module plugs into the MAP sensor. It is a direct fit and does not involve any splicing so it is easily removed before you take to the dealer.

I've never seen so many Cummins powered Rams in one place...

Problem is the have NEVER HEARD OF THE TDR!!!
