The Ugly Truth About Big Oil Companies

We haven't seen fuel prices that cheap in several years. Count your blessings gentlemen.

Diesel here has been holding steady at $4. 91 per imperial gal. Imp gal is a tad bigger and our respective currencies are fluctuating at par. About 100 miles north of Toronto.

Have been paying $3. 29 for ULSD, went up to $3. 59 a couple of days ago east of Dayton in Xenia, Ohio.

$3. 50 in cental Va. As soon as we get the big oil man out the prices will hold for a while . I bet the price will be about $4 by the time he leaves. I still say $46 million is way to much profit. I call it gouging.

More oil talk.

Big oil controls" Big Oil Man" currently in office as they have for decades. Demand is up and supply is down worldwide. The greens won't let the companies drill anywhere near the continental U. S. so it just seems their profits are way out of line. A 20 % cut in the price of their products would help the economy now and not promote fuel waste. Wait until the next election is over. The Republican may and the Democratic nominee will surely boost the per/gallon tax and that money will dissappear into the "black hole" of government waste. Which reminds me,I better go out and buy some fuel before it goes up more!:{

I dont think it matters who is in the white house (or congress) anymore. They will just blame it on their predicesor and let it keep going.

As far as demand being up, I heard on the news yesterday that they expect prices to continue to soar despite the stock pile reserves being more than it has in the last 14 years. Demand is down.

US demand is down ,WORLD demand is up. Lots of new emerging countries out there. It will interesting to see what happens when we are not "at war" and the reserve is released.

Stopped at a Valero Station just off 99 in Fresno yesterday was 3. 99/gal. Went down the road a ways foud it for 3. 59. Appears from what I have seen thats about the range right now. It will be 4. 00 before too long. I always find it strange that when Oil prices go up on the stock market fuel prices jump right away, but when it goes down, takes quite awhile for the pump prices to come down.

San Diego fuel prices.

$3. 83@ Chevron here this morning. $3. 76 independent. These trucks may be novelties soon,to be used sparingly. Of course that's what everone's said all along whenever we have such a spike in prices. :{

And the quality is minimun at its best, for the price we are paying we should demand the best quality there is!!!!#@$%!

In Edmonton, Alberta it is $1. 028 per litre or $3. 89 per Gal US and that is the cheapest in the city at Flying J.
Good thing my 6. 7 gives me a nominal 19 MPG US since the AX reflash.

Around the beginning of February, The Flying J, here in Phoenix, was at $3. 01/9. Today, It's at $3. 41/9.

Thursday night, I filled up my '91. 5 W-250 at the Quick Trip Truck Stop (LSD) @ $3. 26/9. The next evening (Friday, 2/22/08), I filled up my '03 for $3. 41/9. Same station, same pump!!!!! $. 15 cents in one day. It doesn't pay to procrastinate!!!!!

It sounds like I really shouldn't be complaining. Especially when I here others experiences.

$3. 59/gallon in Tomah, WI. Once the deep white stuff ends its season, I drive my 56mpg TDI a little more often. With 3" ground clearance, the VW doesn't make as much sense as the big red Ram this time of year.
