Anybody Played with a HEMI (Truck) that is??

I drove along side one that was going pretty good. It was a girl driving and I wasn't trying to get ahead as traffic was too heavy. She stopped at several lights and got up to anout 85 before she had to slow down for the next. It was a short bed, reg cab. I had no trouble keeping up and I think I could have beat her easily but don't mess with them if you ane not bombed pretty good.

There was one (reg cab) running at the track this fall and I want to say it was turning mid-to-high 15's... . can't quite remember though.

I played with one this summer. A 2500 quad cab. I was not going to play. We left a light together and he punched his(dualed out)but i was good and let him go. He slowed down when i didn't play, i eased up on him just to look at his truck and at 50 he punched it again. This time i decided to give him what he wanted. When i went to 5th i was about 4 lenghts ahead and still pulling away. He turned off at the next light. I think i hurt his feelings with my stinky old truck. :-laf :-laf :-laf

Having owned one, (a1500 SB/RC) I can say a stock Cummins won't keep up with it. But with a little BOMBing, it won't keep up with the Cummins. I will also say, if anyone ever cracks the computer in the HEMI, and comes out with some decent aftermarket parts, it will be a little more difficult.

last nite,,,,1st time. up to 90mph. half ton against my 9200lb drw. hehehe,,,,the guy [who i know] was way back there Oo. i let off and let him get beside me and the look on his face was priceless this guy is a sevice manager at a dodge dlr. hope he dont void my wrrnty now

The main hwy that leads into Terra Haute, IN ... ... well me, and my cousin were about 30-45 minutes out of Terra Haute driving in the night before Scheid's Extravaganza.



Well me and this blue QC SB 1500 4x4 auto HEMI had been trading places for about the last 30 minutes or so. He pass me I'd pass him the usual.



Well we pull up to a stop light and my cuz is eyeing the truck up and down and whisper back at me "dust 'em"..... I'm like "nah... why".



So the light turns green and I take off ever so slightly aggressive in 2nd gear..... my cousin leans out the window and waves by and that's when I hear the transmission kickdown in the lane next to me as my cousin yelled "GO!" :-laf



I snatched 3rd and 4th and he was eat'n smoke! :-laf Oo.



Not to bad for a 12V with only a 3K GSK, PDR 370's, and a slide OEM plate at the time! LMAO! :-laf



Oh and when I backed out the of it around 90-95 the guy actually pulled up along side and gave a thumbs up!

never run one at a stoplight, but I've walked away from every one I've encountered on the highway... and walked away pretty bad at that!
