Like to talk with somebody who has done that. I have to get a new hood and Keystone has a model 102 that looks high enough to put my gauges outside while I am at it. No gauges yet so looks simple. George

George, I don't know how much this helps ya, but I mounted a fuel pressure gauge ( Autometer Ultra lite) on my hood. There are some pics. of the install in the readers rigs section under Bigsaint.

Thanks BigSaint. I knew SOMEBODY had to have done it as it seems quite practical. Have you had any problems with moisture or the like? George

George, the only issue I have with the exterior install is slight fogging of the gauge face. This only happens after a real heavy rain and clears up as soon as the sun hits the gauge face for 30 minutes or so. I soldered and shrink wrapped the 12v connection/ground for the gauge as a precaution.
