Do we have any members with "HOT" 12V's running the HTT Sled Puller 66? Smokin Monster is the only one I've seen, just wondering if there are anymore?

Sorry, I don't have one but what is "HOT"? TIA

What do you consider hot?? EGTs or HP, few pulls back I saw 1780 on the pyro. I think my truck has a lot of potential for being a hot truck, but I just have to figure all of the quirks out and how to make it run right. Right now I am playing with wastegate and drive pressures trying to get the EGT's down.

Sorry guys I figured everyone would know I meant just running a LARGE amount of fuel when I said "HOT". I'm wondering how a HTT SP66 spools on a 12V that has a large amount of fuel, like #0 plate, Laser Cut DV's, & 370's. Talked to Pual and he said it would definately be under 2000PRM's, but could tell me quite where it would start to spool. Smokin Monster says his starts to spool @ 1600-1700RPM's. Just looking for some additional input by other owners. Thanks!

Well like I said i would think that I could have an exhorbent amout of fuel. My pump is capable of 650cc and Mr. Adkins said" 650cc is a ton of fuel" compared to stock 180cc pump of 182cc. You don't necessarily need DV's to get it either talk to Joe Donnelly, I think he made his 800HP run on 181, so to answer your question, My special HTT sledpuller 66, I have a low stall stator from Goerend. Foot hard on Brake, roll into the throttle, engine jumps right to 1300 or so, then slowly roll on the accelerator, I can almost hold it to 2000 RPM, then it just over powers the brakes. At the 1900 or so I am right about 15-18 psi or so. I think the these chargers spool very well. I still am putting out a pretty dark cloud running down the track at about 50 psi of boost. So I would say the charger lights pretty well about 1500-1600. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

by the way I knew what you meant by hot, but need to quantify it. Some guys think that 370's and DV are hot. I think that would be a warm setup. Hot is bigger than 370's and some pump work done. Like I said i have my 0 plate about a 1/3 of the way forward, and I can still block out city blocks and at 50 psi I still have adequate fuel, I would love to slide my plate the rest of the way forward, but I don't think I have the air to do it. Mr Adkins did an excellent job on the pump he worked for me.

If I knew of a place to send it to I would have, but I called around and he was the best price and so far it has plenty of fuel.

Forrest, you know why I asked! My pump hasn't been off yet and it probably won't come off as I have more fuel then I can burn as it is, I couldn't imagine another 200cc's or so! My 10 plate and 191's took me to the top at Piers' Dyno Day this year, although I did use a little bit of H2O/Meth 692. 5/13?? needless to say I'm happy!

my pump guy in sandy lake pa. got me 820cc out of a 215hp pump

I'd bet a 215 pump would do that much fuel... ... with 14mm P&B's. With 12's it more like 550-600, 13's... . 650-700.

No one checks a pump flow rate with the injectors they are running, not even me!
