An ebrake with an auto won't work properly or at all unless you increase the pressure in the transmission. The TC will not stay in lock up. Give Bill K a call. He'll fix you right up. There are other ways to go but if your going to do it... ... . do it right!

I had one on my '97. Had it installed by Cummins. It didn't work all that well until I had a BD Valve Body installed. I put $8,000 into that truck and the Valve Body was the best value. The shifting was awesome. Don't leave home without one.....

Anybody out there have an Ebrake on a 2001 4x4 Automatic?. If so, what modifications did you have to do if any?. Any troubles?

Yeppers... got the new Nitrite PacBrake installed along with Bill K's TC Saver box. This thing works awesome. Guess I really get to put it to work as soon as my new boat gets delivered...

I have complete kits for the BD pressure lock and torque lock for sale. I pulled them off my '99 when I un-bombed it to sell it.

I think Bill K is the way to go, but the BD route will also work if you understand the limitations. I was basically happy with their operation.

EMail me if your interested.
