When I head over to the Seattle area, I always put my 8" drop hitch stinger in. I put some of that red reflective tape on it like the stuff used on semi trailers. Most people behind me allow at least another car length when they see it.

I believe it—after a 'dazed and confused' driver performed a 5 mph front for me with a Sable wagon I changed to a Pro-Zap bumper—cause guess who got more damage!!! Glad the sable driver was helping to pay for it!!

I have one of the those bad a$$ rear bumpers made in Texas, and these folks in Maryland try to see how much of the front end of their cars they can fit under it without hitting me. All I have to do is hickup and they becom my first trophy. #ad

Guys, it's just matter of time 'fore it happens.

Y'all: go out there and get them beefy front/rear bumpers now! Tell the wives it's a safety issue. #ad

Why are insurance companies crying? They won't pay for a DC replacement anyway. The replacements they pay for are 1/2 the quality. People have plowed into me twice. 2 different insurance companies same answer. "we don't have to pay for an original replacement. " Also, I asked why my insurance is so high. The agents reply was " because you seriously damage whatever you hit. "

The stock bumpers are 0. 080" thick (front) and 0. 062" thick (rear). I made a front one out of 3/16" plate and a rear out of 1/2" plate and 4"x6"x. 25" wall box tubing. No one has hit them. Wonder why? #ad

let me tell you how strong a dodge is . i was sitting still wait to turn and was rear ended at 55+ by a 85 ford p/u and it destroyed the rear bumper and bent the frame ,shoved the bed into the cab , the cab behind the doors and the doors into the front fenders and i walked a way , sore but alive . i had the truck rebuilt and now it's better than ever. tony b.
