Has anybody used this? I tried a search and came up w/ nothing because of the whole 3 word min.

I'm especially interested in the replacement upper & lower control arms. They have it so it moves the front end another 1/2 inch forward to center the wheels.

I won't be using it with the spacers. My preference is w/ the D25 SkyJacker springs.

Thanx,

Kevin

I haven't tried the DT version but they look just like Daystars which I used on my gasser. They work just fine but $145 is too much for them. Look on ebay to find the spacers if that's the route you want to go. Personally I recommend the Skyjacker 2. 5" coils. I ran these also and they will level the truck out nicely AND greatly improve the ride of the truck. I got mine for less than the cost of the DT spacers. Give them a call and they'll take good care of you.

**I have no affiliation with Skyjacker**

Just recommending a great product.

when you used the springs did you need to replace the control arms?

If you didn't, and you had to install it again, would you have replaced the control arms?

Again, I am looking at utilizing the Skyjacker springs. However I was looking at the control arms offered by DT for a possible replacement. Mainly the set that positions the axle 1/2 inch forward.

Kevin,

Go with the longer springs rather than spacers. Big difference in ride quality and no more bottoming the front suspension over the bigger bumps and dips. Ditto on the longer control arms. No reason to put already touchy steering geometry (death wobble) further out of wack. Make sure you find a good alignment person to check/adjust the front settings when you're done. If your wallet can handle it look into replacing the rear springs too. Those stock 5" lift blocks from the factory are a joke and cause huge wheel hop unless you spend nearly what it costs for new rear springs in traction aids (traction bars, Roadmasters, etc... ) The ride difference is HUGE if you go with new springs and Bilsteins on all 4 corners. I also highly recommend dual shocks up front to control the mighty Cummins. It's only money... :D

Is there a company that makes a replacement rear spring pack? That would be same as stock height, just to eliminate the block?

Give them a call. They can make whatever your heart desires. Very good people to deal with and they take pride in their work.

forward.

I did not replace the control arms when I added the springs. My 35x12. 50's rubbed pretty badly and I had considered going that route at one point. I didn't feel it would give me the clearance necessary so I went with the 4. 5" lift which cured my problem perfectly. Every truck is different when it comes to these lifts so I recommend putting just the springs on and seeing how it looks. If you need a little more clearance then look into the control arms. If you do, I would recommend the Skyjacker arms. Nothing against the DTs but the SJ's are a proven design.
