I've run several pressure boxes, and I'll have to say that the MP-8 is my favorite. Infinite in-cab adjustability is really nice. You don't have to commit to a setting. Just set it to how much power you want. I've dynoed with it on a relatively stock truck, and it made 105hp. Once my turbo was in, it jumped to 112hp.
It does some advanced boost fooling to get the ECM to command additional timing. It actually advances the boost readings at low boost. Some may not like the injector rattle, but any pressure box that gives 100hp or more will rattle a bit. A lot of it has to do with the timing.
The boost fooling feature also makes it a great stack with a TST. It lets the Standard TST program start fueling at lower boost. There is also a TST-specific program available from TS Performance that makes it even better for a stack. The overall pressure increase is lower, but it's designed to aid the TST in not draining the rail so quickly.
I don't think you can go wrong with this box. It works as advertised.
It stacks very well with the Bully Dog downloader as well. Just be careful to not use the higher settings on the BDDL (adds pressure) with the MP-8 turned up.
It's the box we go to whenever anyone is stacking as the adjustability of it is infinite etc. As for it being a stand alone product it does that very well as well, approx 100 HP.
