Gateway Chapter and GDOA Spring Fling #2

Shay,

You know we'll be there if you or Bob need us. Just say that you need something. We do plan on being there that day, just can't commit to a full time thing right now. My work is getting busier everyday.

Anybody that talks smack about the CPSC does not know you folks well. It's a great group of people and I have always enjoyed our rivalry and relationships.

Hope yours is all well. Looking forward to seeing you then.

Mike Lockner

Thanks Mike. I heard your work is crazy (see I check up on you). I look forward to seeing you and Tammy again, we miss ya. We've talked about getting together, but it seems like we have all been swamped this winter. I've been working more hours myself, but I guess that's good.

Yep Jeremy, cousins. Actually Mark is married to Alan's cousin. Deanne (Mark's wife) and I are really close. My oldest daughter and I were in their wedding. Good people, that's for sure. Can't wait to see your new mods!

Thanks to PKozlowski for the "shameless plug". We like shameless plugs, they work!

Okay, let's get to work and make this the best dyno day yet! Bob likes to not only meet expectations, but surpass them!

:--) :--) :--) Can't wait to see both you and your truck!!!!!!

It's been way too long Richard.

Shay

Richard,

You BAD boy. You've been busy. I hope you can make it as it has been a while since we've seen you. Your truck sounds BAD ***. :--) :D

Allright a little update!

I was wrong on the cost, It's gonna be $45 for the three pulls.

Also just to stress some other stuff.

No parts changes on the dyno! Laser Bob is serious about this!

You can change a chip setting as long as it doesn't take more than 2 minutes!

No ECM reprograming or stuf like that. If you have a programer, set it how you want to run it.

If you have a automatic transmission we hope you have a lockup controler! If you do make sure that you point it out to the dyno operator!

If you don't have a lockup controler we'll do the best that we can to get it locked for your runs but we're not gonna spend 20 minutes trying to get it locked.

We are also offering decel runs. You may choose if you want to do one or not. It will be on the signup sheet. Watch PKozlowski's vid if you want to see a decel run in action.

We are gonna try to run more trucks than ever before and to do this we are going to need your help! We're going big here!

I still need some volunteers to help with strapping and also to prep the trucks in the line. Please contact me if you are interested!

I also need volunteers to help with cleanup on Sunday.

Thanks guys! Let's do this thing right!

Jeremy

And the reason I did the decel run was that simulates hitting a hill pulling the camper and I wanted to see exactly what the truck had in that situation, plus keep an eye on my EGT so this is the best way to do it.

I want to know how it's going to pull not how quick it can get me to 75mph. I did one acceleration run 40 to 80 and actually made less horses then going the other way 80 to 40mph.

Pete

The decel runs will work your truck like it has never been worked before. I have done them and can promise you it will amaze you.

Mike L.

Jeremy,

I've got a few more volunteers, I will send you all the names I have in the next few days.

I will also change the price on the dyno flier, so if I sent anyone a flier earlier, hollar at me so that I can send you another one.

I have the registration sheets we have always used, or are you talking about having the decel option on the waiver sheets from GAM? I really need to know so that I can have the forms done correctly. I want them done right the first time, because I spend quite a bit of money and time getting the ready.

Thanks,

Shay
