Competition anybody upgraded to a 271 tc yet???

just wondering if anybody ditched their 241 transfer case and upgraded to a 271 yet? Has anybody ever dealt with Transfer Case Express, I just talked to someone there and he said the 271 was no stronger than the 241HD, and the 271 actually had a smaller chain. Is there anything stronger than a 241 HD???

the new t/case is push button controlled--I'm not sure what that means for a swap out as I haven't spent but a few seconds looking at '03 truck---on one hand I'd like to do it, but on the other there are more pressing issues to resolve first... ... ... ... chris

The 273 is push button, the 271 is floor-lever.

David--thanks for the info--like I said I'd only looked at one very briefly and didn't check to see what model it was--I just figured it was the 271--thanks again---chris
