Southwest Brake makes a pass through our area and has excellent prices on luber-finer filters and wondered if they are good quality. I am using Fleet Guard Strato Pore filters right now and couldn't be happier with them, but if the salesman can deliver to my door the same quality or better filter for less I would deffinatly go for it. . Any thoughts??

Thanks,

Derek

First, I am NOT affiliated with ANY company! However, I have a number of friends who work in the Albion, Illinois Champion Labs and Fleet Guard factories. The quality of both is EXCELLENT!!! Personally, I use the Champ filters. But, the Fleet Guard is a quality piece as well!

They've been in wide spread use in large trucks (class 8) for many years.

Unless they make a small model, I'd say theyre too big for our trucks.

I used them in by pass units in semi's, they're good and they have them for the 5. 9. I haven't used them in mine just because the Fleetgaurds are easier for me to get...

Thanks for the info. . I think I'll give them a try and see if its worth changing from the Fleet Guards.
