Anybody using the Alex Pepper OBDII scan software?

I have been using it for about a month now. Are you using it? I have some questions for others that are using it as well. Please see my post about MAP sensor readings.

big carl- yes i purchased the software a couple monthes ago. could you check your TPS reading? with engine off mine reads 17 and 71 @ WOT.

I had mine hooked up earlier today. I am having a low power problem and not sure what the problem is yet. My TPS readings indicated 100% at WOT and then back to 0 when not on the throttle at all.



Can you tell me what your MAP readings are at idle and WOT? Mine is showing 60inHg at idle and 75 at WOT. That doesn't seem right.

what year is your truck? i will check the map on mine however it will be tomarrow before i can post back.

Mine is a 2001.

I've been using this same software for the past 8 months, rev. 1. 01. A good tool for being able to read the codes set in the PCM. Also allows them to be cleared. Some of the data is not supported.



Just checked the TPS, at idle reads 6. 7%; WOT reads 68. 2%.

I checked the http://www.obd-2.com/ site this morning and there is an update for the browser now that was released on 8/13/01. Several new features shown.



There are also several optional zip files that are used under a new enhanced menu.
